Harold’s parents want him to move out of their basement and his girlfriend wants him to settle into a career selling bathtub parts.

I ran across this on WineCast.NET while I was looking for good partners for soon-to-start Gluhwein.Net.

This is an article by Dilbert’s Scott Adams about his thoughts on the future of digging technology and how it can benefit us. His main benefits include more accessibility to geothermal energy, cheaper cave digging (for homes), and underground cities. It’s a fun article and you might even get a business idea out of it.

My friend, Chad, and I like to have these back porch conversations into the wee hours of the morning from time to time. I remember a great analogy he had from the transition from the expansion of the universe to the contraction of the universe.

This definitely goes under the “Pure Fun” category. I ran across this while doing Lead Optimize work for a PPC campaign targeting teens in Mexico and it struck me as a Gravity Unknown…

I don’t know this Chris Denny but if your name is my name, too, and your music is posted on YouTube (or something else) then you get posted on one of my sites or blogs. Good spontaneous publicity.

OK, Marion did not shoot me in the buttocks and you can trust Germans, after all. Marion is from Munich studying Germans in Texas (yes, she came all the way here from Germany to study Germans) and has been chronicling her adventures on her blog, Marion In Texas.

Well, about three minutes after I wrote the last post, I dug two links further and found how to sketchcast.

Rich explains it all at sketch.basement.org and you can see his video below.

It is more simple than I thought. There are four things required for SketchCasting.

• Microphone
• Screencaster
• Drawing Program
• You Tube
• Tablet PC (or a tablet)

The painful part is tablet PC because I don’t have one now and I don’t feel like blowing $1,500 on one either.

I am not sure I can give this a good enough introduction. Rich Ziade at sketch.basement.org delivered sketchcasting as a way to save time presenting ideas and blog posts. I can immediately think of sooo many ways I can use this professionally and for pure fun.

As I understand, there will be a how-to down the road. You will see me using this.

Kayaking Rules. I am a recreational kayaker - nothing like video this but but I love to see the extreme stuff. In the video, the jet powered kayak races a super 4×4 driven by Richard Hammond of Top Gear.
