“Hole” Found in the Universe

I think it goes to Narnia.
Seriously, this is cool. First, props to Rob of LinkNotes where I found this article.
This is a giant space that is actually nothing - or, at least, less of something than we have ever seen before. It contains no stars, planets, rocks, gases, star destroyers, or even dark matter. Nothing, nada, zip, zilch.
“Not only has no one ever found a void this big, but we never even expected to find one this size,” said Lawrence Rudnick of the University of Minnesota astronomy professor. Rudnick, along with grad student Shea Brown and associate professor Liliya Williams, also of the University of Minnesota, reported their findings in a paper accepted for publication in the Astrophysical Journal.
I always question the use of the words “space” or “void.” Why would there be a hole in the universe? Did Zeuss decide to dig a space hole? To me, it is more likely that this “hole” is made of something we have never seen before - like a door to Narnia.
