Expansion and Contraction of Universe
|

My friend, Chad, and I like to have these back porch conversations into the wee hours of the morning from time to time. I remember a great analogy he had from the transition from the expansion of the universe to the contraction of the universe.
By the way, this is my first sketchcast (sort of). You will see more on Gravity Unknown, on the Lead Optimize blog, Gluhwein.net, and Wood Science, as well as on some client sites.
I want to thank Rich Ziade of sketch.basement.org for teaching me how to SketchCast.

So about that contraction thing…I “believe” that I remember my astronomy prof stating that the general consensus is that the universe will shrink back down to a big bang type scenario again someday. This was somehow proven based on how much blackbody energy was measured in the universe or some weird shit like that. Anyway, I know that the point was not really to teach about the universe…but to practice sketchcasting. However, you should know that if I’m confronted by any University Professors or Scientists…I’m going to claim that you are making false and ridiculous claims about things that I’ve said in the past, that I’ve never even met you, and that you are actually stalking me and I’ve had to get a restraining order against you to stop you from staring at me thru the window while I sleep.
Thanks for including me in your sketchcast though!

Yeah, but now I have proof…and I do think you made up the term “blackbody.”
